Launched in 2017, connect2SKILLS continues to connect job seekers and employers to training and employment opportunities
connect2SKILLS has been connecting job seekers and employers to employment and training opportunities in Bruce, Grey, Huron and Perth counties. Starting in 2017 with Manufacturing in Perth County the program quickly gained momentum and grew to offering Hospitality & Tourism in 2018. Today we are now offering training and support for three industries with the new addition of Construction in April 2021. These programs are offered across all four counties of Bruce, Grey, Huron and Perth.
This SkillsAdvance Ontario (SAO) project is funded through Employment Ontario by Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development and the Federal Government. The Four County Method of skills development is branded connect2SKILLS© developed by the Four County Labour Market Planning Board to use when promoting the opportunities this program offers.
Our connect2SKILLS team continues to open up new prospects and opportunities for unemployed and underemployed individuals as well as employers. We are here to support our clients in reaching their employment goals and are always making improvements to the program. We look forward to bringing new and exciting developments to you through our new website, media centre, and social media and advertising campaigns. Keep and eye on our new developments by following our channels.
